Twilight
The first in Stephenie Meyer's series, Twilight brought Bella and Edward to life. It starts when Bella moves to rainy Forks to live with her single father, Charlie, so that her mother can travel with her new husband, Phil. When she gets to the local high school, she meets Edward and his family of mysteriously pale and beautiful creatures who are not accepted by the other students. When she and Edward start going out, which his family discourages, she finds out that they are all vampires living together in forks trying to stay inconspicuous. They're beginning to accept her as an honorary member of their family, when other dangerous vampires make there way to Washington. Bella is taken back to Phoenix for her safety, but they can still find. Edward gets down there as soon as he can, but is it soon enough?
